
Daniel J. Dunn was born and
raised in Fargo, North Dakota. He graduated from North Dakota State
University with a political science degree in 1988. He graduated from
the University of North Dakota School of Law, with distinction, in
1991. Since that time, Dan's practice has focused on plaintiff's personal injury, business and product liability lawsuits. Dan is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in North Dakota and Minnesota. He is also licensed to practice in the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Dan serves on the Special Assessment Commission for the city of Fargo. Dan chaired the "I Buckle Up" campaign for the Traffic Safety Task Force and personally participated in presentations to more than 1,500 area 5th graders emphasizing the need for children and their families to use seatbelts. He was appointed to the Joint Committee on Alternative Dispute Resolution by the North Dakota Supreme Court and has served as an Adjunct Professor at Minnesota State University, Moorhead. He is the past President of the Cass County Bar Association.
Dan and his wife live in Fargo with their three children.
